His Highness the Aga Khan is a friend of prime ministers and presidents, and someone who rarely shies away from dealing with the issues that confront the world, whether they concern conflicts, development or religion.

The Aga Khan Development Network is one of the largest private development networks in the world. It focuses on health, education, rural development, institution-building and the promotion of economic development. It is dedicated to improving living conditions and opportunities for the poor, without regard to their faith, origin or gender.

This week, the Aga Khan joins us to discuss politics, relations and bridge-building between the West and the Islamic world.
