Dearest Family and Friends,

Ya aly madad. Salgirah Mubarak and heartiest Mubaraki to all of you on the occasion of Mowlana Hazar Imam's visit to Dubai. We just wanted to share with you the events from earlier this week. Please remember, this is all from our experiences and information shared with everyone here. Mowlana Hazar Imam arrived in Dubai on the 11th, at 6:10 pm. (He had been in the middle East from earlier in the week and then into the Gulf region before the 11th). Festivities and exciting had been growing all week from preparation of the Padhramni Hall (nearby the Dubai World Trade Centre) to registration for Padhramni Passes. From Thursday, Jamat Khana was held at the Padhramni hall ----there were too many people already!! The foundation laying ceremony took place earlier today Mowlana Hazar Imam arrived at about 4:30 pm. He was very happy and conveyed that to the Jamat several times in His Firmans. On one occasion He said He thanked the Sheikh and the ruling family for welcoming everyone to Dubai for His visit and the Sheikh replied to Mowlana Hazar Imam...'you don't have to thank me, this is your home' He also said in His Firmans....Keep strong in your faith; if you find yourself in material difficulty, worldly problems, recite your tasbih, say Ya Allah, say Ya Ali. Inshallah these Firmans will be read in Jamat Khana for everyone to hear...Mowla spend just under an hour in the Padhramni area, about 35-40 minutes in the Hall, and then a few minutes before and after outside with the Leaders.

Through the week, as various speeches were read and wa'ezs were being made; one of the requests from the Gulf leadership was to bear with them and forgive them for their shortcomings if in any way the preparations weren't as the International Jamat expected. The entire Gulf Jamat....UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi, etc is less than 2000 people...there were over 10,000 people in the Darbar Hall today. There's no doubt as the moment gets closer, the excitement grows however; everything from Deedar passes, to food distribution, to ceremonies, to transport was just so wonderfully organized.

We missed all of you and held all of you close to our hearts.

Deedar Mubarak to all of you.
