2006, October 1 - Paris, France:
Princess Zahra's horse Mandesha won at Longchamp. HH Aga Khan attended with His daughter Zahra, the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at the Hippodrome de Longchamp. Winning owner Princess Zahra Khan said, "The Arc is a dream which will carry on to next year." Winning breeder the Aga Khan said, "We opted for the Opera instead of the Arc when we decided she would stay in training and besides three-year-old fillies don't have a good record in the race." 2006, September 22 - Nairobi, Kenya:
Princess Zahra left Nairobi after a full day of meetings earlier on Thursday September 21st at the Aga Khan Pavilion and at the nearby Aga Khan University Hospital in Parklands. Faculty of the AKU and Dr Firoz Rasul the recently appointed president of the AKU as well as Asmita Gillani the CEO of the AKU now based in Nairobi and Mr Yusuf Keshavjee, member of the Board of Trustees attended the high level meetings.
