Mohammed meets Aga Khan

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received today Prince Aga Khan, Imam of the Ismaili Sect, who is currently visiting the country.

Sheikh Mohammed and his guest exchanged views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest. They also reviewed achievements made by the UAE under the prudent leadership of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and its repute standing worldwide through its principled approach of promoting the sense of fraternity and love as well as values of tolerance, peaceful co-existence and inter-faith interaction.

Prince Khan praised the UAE's distinguished experience in cultural and religious diversity and promotion of spirit of interaction and understanding among various communities and groups. According to him, the UAE has set a shining example for other countries of progress.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al Ka'abi, Minister of Labour and Khaldoun Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority.
