Moscow, 30 April: Russian President Vladimir Putin and [spiritual] leader of the Shiite Muslim [Ismaili] community Prince Karim Aga Khan IV discussed peace settlement in Afghanistan.
"During a lengthy and frank discussion, the prospects for Afghanistan's peaceful revival and further consolidation of the international community's efforts towards its socioeconomic restoration" were addressed, the presidential press service reported.
Moreover, Putin and Prince Karim Aga Khan IV discussed regional problems, including the resolution of conflicts, the service said.
