Please read the Farman at the end.
This is from Professor Shafique Virani(UofT) - same person who talks about Islam on TED talk

Over the course of the Golden Jubilee Year, in virtually every Farman,
Mawlana Hazar Imam emphasized the importance of carrying a tasbih with
us at all times.

Can you imagine if we treated our tasbihs like we do
our mobile phones?

If we ever forgot them at home we'd rush back to pick them up; they would constantly be within reach, in our pockets or our purses; we'd call on them many times a day; and they'd always be ready in case of "emergency."

In fact, our tasbihs are far more technologically advanced than our phones - they never need to be

ě recharged (in fact, they recharge us)

ě there are no missed calls

ě roaming charges

ě long distance is free

ě there's no need to upgrade or change plans

ě and we don't even need to turn them off when in an airplane or jamatkhana!

Hazar Imam's Golden Jubilee Farman in San Antonio, Texas, on April 13,
2008, speaks volumes about the importance of the tasbih,

"Keep your tasbih with you, and call on the tasbih when you feel you need
support, you need courage, you need to seek wisdom, you need to seek
enlightenment in the issues that you have to deal with every day. Make the practice of your faith a part of your everyday lives, not an occasional event. This is not Islam. Islam is the way you live."
