Question on Islam and Freemasonry

I dont know if such a question has been posed before as I am new to the fourms, but I was wondering if you are a muslim can you be a member of an orginization or group like the Freemasons? I myself am not a muslim.

The believing in one and only God (monotheism) is fundamental to the freemasonry that is the first pillar of Islam... Look at it as Boy Scouts for grownups
