YAM

I was wondering if anyone had the full text of the Rub Bagarda prayer, and its meaning. It used to be said quite often but I have not heard it in a while. If it is not appropriate for this forum please email me.

Also, can anyone provide the meaning of "Avala tu, akhera tu, zaher tu, batin tu..."

Thanks in advance.

YAM,

Never heard of Rub Bagarda prayer. Could you provide some background as to where and when it was said.

Avala tu = You are the first

Akhera tu = You are the last

Zaher tu = You are the manifest/apparent

Batin tu = You are the hidden

Imam Alyshah stated that between morning Khane uthapanji and kayamkaranji ghatpath dua if a person is in dire straits and repeats a tasbih of "Ya Raballah be garda, kuwat e parwardigar something ................." 40 times for 40 consecutive days he/she will have that problem solved. This is only to be done when the problem is unsurmountable. For regular problems Ya Aly x 14 and Salwat X 14.

Does anyone have the full wording for it?

Thanks

YAM Virgo2,

I think that is the one. I'm not 100% sure.

Are there any others?

Unusually, it's in (Classical) Persian instead of an Indic language. I too would like to see a copy as I don't speak any Indic languages or Burushaski.

For those who want some reference to this tasbih, it's in Abu Aly Missionary's waez.

Waez #758
Date: February 6, 1987
Place: Eglinton JK of Toronto

In the waez, he mentions the tasbih and when it is to be said.

In the book"MAJALIS AND TASBIHAT" writen by Alwaez Kamaluddin and his wife Zarina Kamaluddin they write this Tasbih and its meaning as follows:-
TASBIH
YA RABB BALA BI GARDAN, BI HAQQ-I-SHAH-I-MARDAN,
BI HAQQ-I-SHAH-I-MARDAN YA RABB BALA BI GARDAN.
MEANING
"O LORD! TURN AWAY THE CALAMITIES IN THE NAME OF THE KING OF HEROES i.e. MAWLA ALI (A.S.)

This Tasbih is in persian language in which we seek Allah's help in the name of Hazarat Ali (a.s.) to ease our troubles and problems.
Also our 47 Imam Mawlana Ali Shah quoted in his one holy Farman that reciting this Tasbih 40 time for 40 days in your difficult time will remove your difficulties.
Please note that the above Farman's words are not exact words as quoted by our 47 Imam.
