Can Nikah be read for an Ismaili woman and non Muslim man.

Post by seemalakhanikeys »

I got married to a non Ismaili in 2010, but I didn't have a wedding ceremony yet. I would like to have Nikah read at the actual ceremony. Is that possible?

I don't think it should be a problem and I don't see any religious restrictions not to do it now even after 2 years, you can still do nikah read at actual ceremony, after all Nikah is an agreement between you and your husband.

I would suggest you to do this ceremony in JK if itOk to you and your husband and if Mukhi/Kamadia sahebans give permission to perform in JK

I dont think you will get permission to have Nikah with Non Ismaili in JK. But still you can consult Mukhi/Kamadia
