Shirk is believing something that abrogates the first part of the shahada - "There is no god but God."

Shirk is Arabic word means to consider or believe other god besides true God (Almighty Allah), shirk is also associating partner with Allah.

Within Islam, shirk is most heinous and unforgivable crime, Allah forgive any other sins but not the shrink.

If someone told me I was committing shirk by calling Ya Ali or Ya Muhammad, or asking them to forgive my sins, how would I respond to these questions?
