its in irony that i am an ismaili but yet my knowledge is unimaginarily deficient. So i would encourage if any one can help me out in this matter.
\Firstly, what is dua utthapan ji? When did it originated? Was it there since Prophet's time?I have read it in somewhere that after aab e shifa ceremony, dua utthapanji is read followed by another dua and during its intermediate period sacred water is fit for healing purpose .......maybe something like that......Anyways, what does it means and what is its significance...Also which dua is followed by utthapanji and its meaning.

Pls i would entertain any comments on that.
thank You

i heard in the waiz of abul ali that the water that is left after uthapanji is good for those who are ill

what we do in most jamatkhana is we mixed it with seera, please note that seera without niyaz is just a sweet, when we mix niyaz in seera it becomes sukreet

but abul ali said its not wajib to put niyaz in seera if its left over because we often do nandi of sukreet in jamatkhana which is not halal because niyaz cannot be auctioned

i guess after ghatpat qayam karanji allahmeriya = abe safa and after uthapanji = abe shifa [healer]

correct me if iam wrong

salam

Brother Shiraz and Hussain,
We can not auction Sukreet in Jamat Khana if Niaz(HOLY WATER RECEIVED FROM HAZAR IMAM) added in it because we can not auction the pak water in Jamat Khana, but if niaz is not added in sheera than you may auction it but we all know in Sukreet there is always Niaz in it without adding niaz it is not complete sukreet, so it is not good practice to auction seera which were given amongst jamat as a sukreet, please note that five things make complete sukreet, 1-GHEE 2, AATA 3,SUGAR, 4 NIAZ AND 5 MILK. nothing else should be add in sukreet no color, no essence, no almond, no cahshes e.t.c.
STAPANJI means "START OF NIAZ CEREMONONY"
Word sthapanji comes from Gujarati/Sindhi word "STAPANA" means establishment of any activity start of any kind of work.
UTHAPANJI menas time of finish the niaz ceremony, uthapanji is opposite word of stapanji this tasbih usualy recited after all jamat drink the niaz.
"Kayam karnji" means close the niaz ceremony.
I heard that after uthapanji( jamat finished the niaz) the left over niaz cure jins, ghost and bad spirits who still not received the salvation and controled humans beings for any reason.

When there is Ghat Pat, what is the reasoning behind not saying "Dua Niyat Khair..." after second dua? We only say it after first Dua and in Qayam Karenji Dua. Can someone provide me with the meaning of "Dua Niyat Khair..."?

My Dear Sister.

In today's Jamatkhana when we recite dua niyat khair is completely wrong. In the old days when I was a child it was recited after two duas and after finishing the ghat pat. The original wording was dua maango dua ne nayat khair kar, illahe tu khair kar, ahat pohor jo khair kar, ya ali tu akbat jo khair kar, ya ali kule jahan jo khair kar, khair khair je venthi kabul kar. This is wording is in gujurati and sindhi, please ask someone to translate it for you in english.
