I had attended JK this evening and it was Chandraat. A ginan was recited in a good size JK and there was perhaps o&shy;ne or two individual that joined in the ginan recitation. I for o&shy;ne, was not able to understand what was being said and I started thinking as to what was o&shy;n the mind of the younger Jamati members that were raised in the western world.<BR><BR>We are moving towards a generation where our children no longer converse in their mother tongues. Perhaps it would be so helpful if a translation of the ginan was provided to the interested Jamati member before entering the JK. Even more so, a little bit of history about the era the ginan was composed in and a short history of the Pir that composed the ginan to put it all in perspective.<BR><BR>I think this would draw more interest into our &nbsp;Wonderful Tradition.<BR><BR>Just a thought..as we move forward to the future...
