BADRUDDIN, SEYYED

One of Pir sadardin's 6 brothers. Upon meeting a group of pilgrims, he made the Ganges River appear at their feet. 14 of the pilgrims had faith in the miracle and became his followers. Sayyed Badruddin composed ginans and his 17 disciples formed a community who still recite ginans as, "bhanne Pir Sadardin, kahet Badruddin". Some members of this community live today in Hamilton.

Also known as Shabuddin. Was born in Sabzwar, named by Imam Qasim Shah. Travelled to Kashmir, Sind, Gujerat. Died during the time of Imam Islam Shah.

(10 Century) Chief librarian of Imam al Muizz's Library. He looked after 200 000 of rare manuscripts of the Library.

Dai who accompanied Imam Hassanali to India at 20 years of age. In 1899, founded the "Sat Panthi Mission Society" (ITREB) with the help of Mustakali, his son*.

(10th Century) Was Imam al Muiz's doctor. He received a substantial financial grant as did 2 of his sons who also became doctors.

Son of Pir Mohamed Zaman. Sent Dais to Afghanistan and Turkestan. Died during the Imamat of Aga Hassanali Shah.
