H.H. The Aga Khan arived in Dar es Salam, Tanzania for AKDN work and official givernment meetings. He will be visiting Arusha also where the AKU will have its East African main campus.

May 28, 2010 : H.H. The Aga Khan will be attending the foundation ceremony of the High Profile Jamatkhana and the Ismaili museum in Toronto. The Ismaili Centre is an 80,000 square foot two-storey building housing a Prayer Hall, entrance foyers and cloakrooms, social hall, library, meeting rooms, administrative offices, main council chamber room, associated facilities such as washrooms, kitchens, etc. and a two level underground parking garage with a capacity of approximately 300 parking spaces.

2009, October 12: H.H. the Aga Khan arrives in Kyrgyzstan today from Tajikistan. The Aga Khan's visit to the Kyrgyz Republic will focus on new initiatives in financial services, poverty alleviation, education and culture. While in Kyrgyzstan the highest guest is expected to meet with President Kurmanbek Bakiev, Prime Minister Igor Chudinov, Foreign Minister Kadyrbek Sarbaev and Finance Minister Marat Sultanov to discuss the impact of the global recession on local economies as well as issues of regional stability, in particular, Afghanistan. 2009, October 14: Aga Khan arrives in Islamabad, Pakistan - Prince Karim Aga Khan, founder of the Aga Khan Development Network and spiritual leader of the Ismaili community, arrived here Tuesday. He was received by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira.The Aga Khan is expected to meet President Asif Ali Zardari to discuss matters of mutual interest including economic and social development of the country. 2009, October 30: Prince Rahim Aga Khan delivered a speech during the Public Private Partnership Conference that took place in Syria between 30 October and 1st November 2009. The conference is organized by the British-Syrian Association in cooperation with the Office of Deputy Prime Minister. According to conference programme, Prince Rahim delivered his keynote address around 9:00am on Saturday 31st October.

October 21, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Prince Amyn Aga Khan, younger brother of His Highness the Aga Khan, is arriving in Dushanbe today afternoon for a short visit, according to the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) Dushanbe Office. 2008.March 21: : According to Chitral News issue of this day, Spiritual leader of the Ismaili Muslim community, H. H. Prince Karim Aga Khan is likely to visit Chitral and Northern Areas, later next month tentatively, it was learnt from sources here. 2008, October 30: Prince Aga Khan pays visit to Kazakhstan - One of the World famous patrons of art, Prince Karim Aga Khan VI has paid a visit to Kazakhstan. He is one of the descendants of the Prophet Mohammed and he is also the Imam of the Muslim and Shiite community of the Ismaili. His Excellency was welcomed to the Ak Orda residence by Nursultan Nazarbayev. The Prince is also the founder and one of the sponsors of many charity projects carried out in many countries including the CIS and some Central Asian states.

April 12 - On Thursday, April 17, 2008 Atlanta will welcome His Highness Prince Aga Khan, the spiritual leader of 15 million Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims. The Aga Khan, at the invitation of Governor Purdue, will visit Atlanta as a part of four city visit he is undertaking to celebrate his Golden Jubilee, the 50th year as the Imam. He will be in Atlanta for three days following his visits to San Antonio, Los Angeles and Chicago. His visit will witness the gathering of over 25,000 of his followers from over 30 countries.

April 15 - (CNN) -The leaders of three world religions will be visiting the United States this week, and although the media spotlight is focused on Pope Benedict XVI and the Dalai Lama, thousands of Ismaili Muslims are celebrating a rare U.S. tour by the Aga Khan. The Aga Khan says a 'clash of ignorance' has led to friction between Islam and the West.
