Ottawa, Canada: The Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat building, situated at 199 Sussex Drive in Ottawa, is established by His Highness the Aga Khan, 49th hereditary Imam, or spiritual leader, of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, and founder and chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). This new building was officially inaugurated on Saturday, December 6, 2008.
A secular facility, the Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat will serve a representational role for the activities of the Imamat including its development agencies which constitute the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).
La Delegation de l'imamat ismaili, situee au 199 promenade Sussex a Ottawa, est l'immeuble est fonde par Son Altesse l'Aga Khan, 49e imam hereditaire, ou leader spirituel, des musulmans shiites ismailis, et president fondateur du Reseau Aga Khan de developpement. L'inauguration officielle de ce nouvel immeuble a eu le samedi 6 decembre 2008.
Institution laique, la Delegation de l'imamat ismaili representera les activites de l'imamat ainsi que les agences de developpement qui forment le Reseau Aga Khan de developpement.
