Sat shabda kaa karo veechaaraa,
Pirshaah kahojee vaara(m)-vaaraa ...........................................2
Reflect (meditate) upon the True Word and say 'PirShaah'(name of the Lord) as often as possible, or repeat again and again the words 'Pir and Lord'

Pratham dhiyaan rasanaa-su(n) kije,

Meaning: Shree-Holy, Kalank - loose character, Naklank - One who cannot be blamed, one without sin, one to whom nothing is applicable, Naaraayann - The best of all, Alakh - cannot be described, Nirinjan - cannot be seen with eyes, Paataar - land under ocean, ocean bed, Abhar - complete, thaap - establish or created, Mandhann - foundation, Saami - Lord, Sirijanhaar - Creator of all.

* Le poète s’appelle Shams Tabriz.

* Il explique que tant et aussi longtemps que le monde existera, nous aurons la preuve de l’existence d’Ali. Ali existe depuis même avant la création du monde et du temps!

* Wassi = successeur du prophète.

* Ali est comme un roi qui contient tout le noor de Allah. C’est le Wassi de Muhammad.

* Le noor des prophètes tels que Adam, Edris, Ayub, Yusuf, Yunus, Hud, Musa, Isa, Ilyas, Saleh et Daud fait partie du noor de Ali!

Dans ce qasida, le poète Adeem dit:

* Oh Seigneur actuel, tu es notre Imam du Temps. Ta bonté et ta grace sont au delà de nos sens et de notre imagination!

* Oh descendant des Fatimides, Tu es le successeur légitime de Muhammad et tu es la manifestation-même du Noor de Allah!

* Le noor de l’Imamat présent en toi nous illumine comme la lumière du soleil!

Day and night in my intoxicated heart
I call Ali, I seek Ali
In the orchard, rose gardens and desert

Ali is my soul and life
Ali is the repose of my heart
At every moment my tongue recites Ali

BAAVAN BODH(Fifty two advices) - BY PEER SADARDEEN

Preamble to the So Kriyaa.

1. satgur tannee shikhaamann saachee,

2. saa(m)bhalo rikheesaro mallee man raachee.

1. The precepts(teachings) of the True Guide are true.

2. Listen o believers, earn(gain) them and thereby make your heart joyful and happy.

3. din ooge karo dharamshu(n) dha(n)dhaa,

4. saa(n)j padde thaee raho saahebjee naa ba(n)daa.

3. When the day arises perform your worldly activities according to the principles of religion.

4. In the evenings remain the creatures of the Lord(in devotion).

Dhin ki baat kahi na jaave,
laakh karo to haath na aave 1

The mysteries of religion cannot be disclosed (to the uninitiated), for even through a hundred thousand exertions, they cannot be attained (it is through grace that one attains them).

Neh agansun dehaa biraani,
prem kathaa kine na jaani 2

Through the fire of love, my being seems remote/detached, the tale of love cannot be understood by anyone ( who has not tasted it).

Khol kahun to koi na paave,
taare gintaa rahen bihaave 3

1. 0 sages ! say where will the soul go ? Ism-e-Azam (the great name) continues from eternity.

2. 0 brother! the heart which is delighted with it alone knows it. How will the dumb praise sugar ?

3. .0 brother! the sukhmana vein lies between the heart and the breath. Control the heart and relate such facts of knowledge to it.

4. 0 brother! Ganga and Jamna are quickly flowing backwards, without acquiring water the heart bathes.

5. 0 brother! level both eyes and be firm in dealings, then 0 believer! contemplate upon these facts.

Eji Munivar esaa jo lonnie,
ane kare jo utam kaam;
saachaa saaheb to paamie,
bhaai puraa jo lije naam 1

A momin is the one who seeks such (a path) and performs exalted work; one attains the True Lord brother, if one takes the Name perfectly (with complete understanding).

Eji Saas usaase aaraadhie,
ane haraf na kaaddho tame baar;
paanch chor-jo vaarie,
baavaa mango padaarath chaar 2

ejee venatee karu(n) chhu(n) saaheb moraa,

ne haseene saamu(n) juo jee;

hasee bolaavo maaraa ha(n)saa jee naa raajaa,

sharam hamaaree yaa alee toye jee.................................1

I entreat You, o my Master, to look at me with a smile as I stand before You. Call me with a smile, o Sovereign of my soul. My honour is in Your keeping, o Ali.

ejee kar joddeene em maagu(n) ho saaheb,

aas hamaaree ya alee puro jee;

hame gunegaaree ba(n)do dosaaree,

maaro jeevaddo chhe tamaare hajur jee.............................2

ejee gurnarthee bhulaa taa(n)su, vaad na keejejee
te avarko jeev ddolaavejee...................................1

Do not argue with the ones who have strayed away from the Guide and the Master("Gurnar"). They shake the souls of others(with doubt).

ejee gurnarthee bhulaa te to mahaa paapee kaheeyejee
gur veenaa jeevddo na chhuttejee.............................2

The ones who have strayed away from the Guide and the Master, are the greatest sinners. Without the Guide, the soul does not get salvation.

The True Word(Holy Word or "Isme Azam") is my Guide(or remover of darkness).
The world at large does not have much regard for it.

sat shabda kaa karo veechaaraa, peershaah kahojee vaara(m)vaaraa..2

Reflect (contemplate, meditate) upon the True Word and say 'PeerShaah'
(name of the Lord or other form of zikr) as often as possible.

pratham dheeyaan rattanaasu(n) keeje, neeshdeen peershaah peershaah bhanneeje

evee garbee sa(m)purann saar, gur shams bolyaa veechaar...........1

Such (wonderful) songs are now complete and perfect,
the Guide Shams has spoken about matters to reflect upon!

je koi saa(m)bhallshe ekahee man, tenaa sahastra ghanneraa pun....2

Whoever listens to them with one mind,
has indeed attained many thousands of virtues!

je koi gaay te nar ne naar, te to paamshe pele paar...............3

Those men and women who sing them,
will attain the original limits (limits of the spiritual world)!

je koi satpa(n)thkee garbee gaay, tenaa praachhat sarave jaay.....4

BHULO BHULO TE BHULO BHAMARDDORE GARBI PEER SHAMSH

bhulo bhulo te bhulo bhamarddore lol..............................1

The bumblebee has forgotten!

keeyaa(n) bhule meraa praanneeyaare lol...........................2

O my living one! Why do you forget?

agan jattan taare tan jaageeyaare lol.............................3

Your body is composed of fire and clay!

abhee bhule sohee praannee haarsere lol...........................4

The one who forgets this time is indeed the living one who will lose!

evaa aage to bhav je la(n)gannaare lol............................5

gur kahere gaafalo saa(m)bhallore lol.............................1

The Guide tells you, listen o ignorant ones!

evaa fogatt feraa tame shu(n) farore lol..........................2

Why do you get into such vain cycles of rebirth!

have nathee te rup agyaarmure lol.................................3

Now there will not be an eleventh form
(manifestation of the Lord)!

nathee kaljugthee jug paa(n)chmore lol............................4

There will not be a fifth era after the present age (fourth era)!

peer naachee ne ka(n)the geenaan re maa
em samjaaveene gur kahe chhe re maa...............................1

The Peer(True Guide) dances (in happiness) and expounds
this 'geenaan'. In this manner the Guide explains and informs!

tame samajo te satnee saanare maa, em samjaaveene ................2

You must understand the signs of the truth!

tame jutthaasu(n) keedhaa aachaar re maa, em samjaaveene..........3

You have performed illegal activities so far!

gur kahe chhe vaaroi vaar re maa, em samjaaveene..................4
