i used to listen to a cassett when i was young in 2000-2003. it was in hindi or urdu and had stories and geet, music about ismaili history. i think the cassette was called Noor of Allah. i am not sure about the name. however does anyone know where I can find the audio? i would be much obliged to the help. it is an amazingly beautiful piece to listen to and would like to enojy it now even. Went to look for the Ismaili Center - found that the closest landmark reference is Lamcy Plaza-just a block away.
Also, if anyone would like a good reference for a hotel closeby -within 15 min- it is Arabian Courtyard and Spa in Bur Dubai: provides breakfast. Note Ismaili Center is not open in the mornings. In the evenings, leave enough time as there is a lot of traffic jams in these areas

Great website for a truly historic figure. I was interested in his friendship with Lord William and Lord Marcus Beresford, younger sons of the Marquis of Waterford. About 1870 the Marquis sold a lot of 15 Thoroughbred mares to Charles Reynolds of New South Wales, Australia, but they were unfortunately lost at sea in transit to Australia.

Nice to read of Ismaili Center and Museum at Wynford Park in Toronto through our presentation in jk in pune India this friday.we learn that this project is made up of four components: The Ismaili Centre, The Ismaili Museum, underground parking and a central utility plant two storey building with JK and cloakrooms, social hall, library, meeting rooms, administrative offices, main council chamber along with kitchen and washroom and garage
I guess the main object of this museum is preservation of muslim arts and culture.
Mr Harper pm of canada also appreciated the pluralism of Ismaili muslim among various culture
I am a Ismaili muslim teacher secondary level and read in level 1 about golden time of fatimid time.I am from pune and I guess if we compare canada and pune one canadian dollar is 56.1 and we are spending 1 crore inr in canada it is less than 2 lac dollars in inr.In pune we have jamat of around 6000 and also there are various jamat around pune.i feel similiar infrastructure should be there in pune because pune is a cultural city with population of around of 1 crore as per 2011 census.I know few people in christ college pune and few people in Ness wadia college and also few people in corporate like principal financial group and few people of other caste as i am also a secular teacher teaching of under graduate and Management student.My dream is just like people visit Agakhan palace in pune which is tourist place under government of India i feel Agakhan institution should build various branches in colleges and build a Ismaili centre where all people can come to know the Ismaili muslim culture and also students are flowing the good image of religion goes to many people which is dream of hazar imam.Also once a week all jamat can come together.we have hikma classes for senior people sharing history of jamat.i feel similiar project can start in pune.also other religion can share their best practices.
